Anti aging hormone, HGH

HGH - The anti aging hormone

If you think growing a potbelly, losing your hair and having brittle bones are just natural progressions of old age, think again. New research indicates that these symptoms are all related to a decline in the Human Growth Hormone-a natural hormone produced by the body, which peaks in adolescence and declines with age.

"The human growth hormone has a very specific connection to symptoms that we typically associate with aging," says Dr. Gary Bernard, BodyLogicMD physician and CEO of Pointe Medical Services.

"When this hormone is low, we see a loss in muscle mass, bone density, skin elasticity and even a decrease in organ function, which all translate to signs of aging," continued Dr. Bernard.

But just because you're getting older, doesn't mean you have to look and feel like it, says Dr. Bernard.

Like other hormones, HGH is only half as productive in your 40's as it is in adolescence, but by restoring the body's levels of HGH back to the levels of adolescence, patients have experienced:

* significant weight loss
* burned body fat
* increased muscle mass
* increased skin elasticity
* repaired joints faster
* improved immune system
* improved sleep levels

"HGH is a hormone that is depleted as you age and like every other hormone, it should be replaced with aging," says Dr. Bernard. "It's a hormone that's overlooked because there's a misconception that you only need growth hormones during adolescence. But humans grow throughout their life span and need growth hormones to repair joints, build bones, burn fat and increase muscle mass."

Low levels of HGH can even be reflected in your face.

"Sagging cheeks, thinning lips, deep forehead lines, decreased facial tone, atrophied jaw angle and receding gums can all be traced to HGH," says Dr. Bernard. "It makes you look younger. It lifts the skin, tightens the muscles and improves overall skin elasticity."

But what about the side effects of HGH? In a Newsweek article, Dr. Pinchas Cohen says, "All the evidence shows that HGH is one of the safest drugs we have."

Doctors across the country are turning to HGH in increasing frequency. Pediatricians are using it to treat children with growth problems, orthopedic surgeons are using it to treat patients with hip fractures, cardiologists are using it to treat patients with weak hearts and gerontologists are using it for anti-aging purposes.

In treating all patients with hormone imbalances, BodyLogicMD replaces exactly what is missing, or low, with the body's appropriate bioidentical hormones that are identical to the body's chemistry. Every dosage is low and customized to each patient. Expert physicians closely monitor each patient's progress and evaluate their symptoms through laboratory tests to ensure safety.

"Aging is a natural progression, but you can choose whether you want to experience all the old age symptoms or age with dignity," says Dr. Bernard. "By the age of 40, your hormones are at half the level they used to be and you are likely to have another 40 years to live with the unpleasant side effects of those low hormone levels. Bioidentical hgh hormone therapy is a simple way to replace your hormone levels to where they used to be."
